Method 1: Check the internet connection

 

 

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Check that the Airplane Mode slider is not in the on position.
  3. If you are using cellular data, select the Cellular option from the menu.
  4. Make sure the Mail option is turned on by scrolling down.
  5. Select Wi-Fi and reconnect your iPhone if you are using a Wi-Fi network.

 

Method 2: Check that iCloud Email is enabled

 

 

  1. Tap on your name at the top of the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Click iCloud.
  3. Make sure the switch for mail is turned on on the next screen. Tap on it to activate your iCloud mail if it isn’t already. You should be able to start receiving emails on your iPhone right away.

 

Method 3: Make the appropriate mail settings

 

 

  1. Tap on Mail after opening the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Select “Accounts” and then “Fetch New Data”.
  3. You can choose your preferred fetch schedule and activate Push. 
  4. Then, after selecting an email account, you may select from Push, Fetch, or Manual.
