Can not connect to App Store?

That’s what I thought when I tried to do registration or sign up on the application a few weeks back. I actually tried to create an account to test out that feature and I couldn’t. Ever since then I didn’t have any luck getting in and it looks like my attempts haven’t been much help either.

 

Here’s a screenshot from a past login, the emails are coming in one after another.

 

I’d always thought there was an issue with the App Store app registering and authentication. I checked with an Apple employee and they agreed with me. So this feature has apparently been in place for a while now but I just didn’t see it.

 

Some users say their Apple IDs have changed but they are still logging in. These users see their own email addresses and password.

 

A quick survey with Apple.com subscribers found that two in three have also been unable to log in to their App Store account. Some say their accounts are locked but others say their Apple IDs were locked years ago but have never actually been unlocked.

 

I’d say at least a couple hundred thousand users have been in the same boat as me.

 

That’s a problem. And it is pretty obvious that Apple is not making it easy to recover old Apple IDs for new apps.

 

In a statement to Business Insider, Apple said it is aware of the problem and is working on resolving it:

 

“We are aware of accounts that are not able to sign into apps and services that they have previously signed into, but are fixing the issue with new features and a server reset in the next few days. This will resolve the issue and allow them to log in once the issue is resolved.”

 

They are simply adding another login option. Some apps and services have had multiple logins and the ability to log in multiple times before.

 

All I want is my existing account restored. Please restore my old Apple ID, please restore my old Apple ID. And for Apple to make things as simple as possible to change out accounts. I’ve been trying to switch my iCloud email and get it working on my desktop but I keep running into other hurdles.

 

This is a big deal and not just for me. Any Apple user could be in this exact same boat. Maybe you’re an old friend. Maybe you want to try out a new app that requires an Apple ID. Maybe you’d like to go back to the old days when your email was linked to your Apple ID and that password was automatically saved to your computer.

Another question for Apple, can’t my old Apple ID ever be reactivated? The subscription emails I’m getting now have to do with what I’d call a subscription. But an actual subscription.

 

All I’d need to do to get these emails is login on the App Store again. And so if I can just get back in I can easily start paying for apps and services again. But I can’t. There is no sign up.

 

Yes I’m not making this up. Evero login, login, and, myolsd!

 

I’ve been stuck in the evero login loop for a couple weeks now. It has been my longest login ever, and I’ve never gone this long in any account.

 

If you are in this boat too, and you haven’t already joined the evero login, myolsd party, send me an email. Or you can simply head over to the app on the App Store.

And, Apple. Please restore my old Apple ID.

 

Maybe it’s too late. Maybe I should be lucky and get my old Apple ID back and maybe that’s what you’ll do. Maybe you will restore my account and once again have me sign in to every single app and service in your store.

 

But I’m not holding my breath on this.
